Since Erik Rosendahl established Rosendahl A/S in 1984, we have undergone massive development. From an agency business to one of the strongest manufacturers in Denmark of design for the home and the dining table. Our products come into existence in a close partnership with a number of leading designers. The results speak for themselves – in countless homes all over the world.

Denmark becomes iittala’s largest export market
Rosendahl acquires the rights to Kay Bojesen’s wooden figures and Grand Prix cutlery
Rosendahl starts to import Global Knives to the markets of Norway, Greenland, the Faroe Islands, Iceland, Finland and Denmark

To mark the bicentenary of Hans Christian Andersen, Rosendahl, in collaboration with Lin Utzon, launches a beautiful dinner service range with motifs inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s fairytales. The same year, Rosendahl establishes the Rosendahl Watches division, working in close partnership with designers such as Flemming Bo Hansen, Bo Bonfils and Henrik Fisker as well as sports personalities such as Tom Kristensen and Caroline Wozniacki .
